Frequently Asked Questions
At Thrive Wellness Siloam Springs, we understand that natural wellness, bioenergetic scanning, detox therapies, and personalized supplementation may be new to you. Our goal is to make the process simple, comfortable, and easy to understand.Below are answers to some of the questions we hear most often.
Getting Started
I’ve never been to Thrive Wellness before. Where should I start?
If you are looking for a deeper look at your overall wellness, we recommend beginning with a New Client Scan. This allows us to review your current concerns, discuss your wellness goals, and use bioenergetic scanning to identify areas where your body may benefit from additional support. If you are simply interested in experiencing one of our wellness therapies, such as the infrared sauna, ionic footbath, or SoQi therapy bed, you may schedule those services individually without completing a full scan first.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a current list of any medications, supplements, vitamins, herbs, or homeopathic products you are taking. It is also helpful to make a short list of your biggest wellness concerns and anything that has recently changed with your health. If you have recent laboratory results you would like to discuss during a consultation, you may bring those as well.
How long should I plan for my first visit?
Appointment length depends on the service you select. New client consultations and advanced scans require more time than individual wellness therapies. Please review the appointment length listed when booking so you can allow enough time for your visit without feeling rushed.
Bioenergetic Scanning
What is a bioenergetic scan?
A bioenergetic scan evaluates energetic patterns within the body's systems. The scan may highlight areas where stress, imbalance, or energetic weakness appears to be present so that we can develop a more individualized wellness-support plan. Bioenergetic scanning is intended to support wellness education and does not diagnose disease or replace medical testing.
What can a scan look at?
Depending on the type of scan selected, we may evaluate areas such as: · General body-system stress · Vitamins and minerals · Amino acids and enzymes · Digestion · Detoxification pathways · Hormonal and neurotransmitter patterns · Environmental or dietary sensitivities · Emotional stress patterns · General supplementation support Your scan is customized according to your concerns and wellness goals.
Does the scan diagnose medical conditions?
No. Bioenergetic scanning is not a diagnostic medical test and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. The information gathered is used to help identify patterns and areas where nutritional, lifestyle, or wellness support may be beneficial.
Is bioenergetic scanning the same as bloodwork?
No. Bioenergetic scanning and laboratory testing are very different tools. Bloodwork measures specific biological markers within the body. Bioenergetic scanning evaluates energetic responses and patterns. When appropriate, laboratory testing from your medical provider can provide valuable additional information alongside your wellness assessment.
Will I receive a report?
Yes, depending on the service you select. Our Client Scan & Report option allows you to receive a personalized written report outlining the primary areas identified during your scan along with recommendations for nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle, and supportive therapies. Consultation options are also available if you would like to review your report together.
Supplements & Wellness Recommendations
Do I have to purchase supplements?
No. Recommendations are made based on your individual wellness goals and scan findings, but you are never required to purchase supplements. Our goal is to help you understand what may be beneficial so you can make informed decisions about your own wellness.
Can you tell me which supplements I should be taking?
Yes. If your primary goal is simply to better understand which vitamins, minerals, herbs, or other nutritional products may support you, we offer services specifically focused on personalized supplementation recommendations.
Do you carry supplements in the office?
We offer a selection of professional-quality nutritional, herbal, homeopathic, and wellness products. Some recommendations may also be ordered through professional supplement dispensaries when appropriate.
How long do I need to stay on a supplement?
There is no one-size-fits-all answer. Some supplements may be recommended for short-term targeted support, while others may be appropriate for longer-term nutritional maintenance. We typically recommend reassessing your needs periodically instead of continuing every supplement indefinitely without reevaluation.
Detox & Wellness Therapies
What is an ionic footbath?
An ionic footbath is a relaxing wellness therapy that uses water and an ionizing array while your feet soak. Many clients incorporate footbaths into their wellness routine for relaxation and general detoxification support.
What is infrared sauna therapy?
Infrared sauna therapy uses infrared heat to warm the body and encourage sweating. Clients often use infrared sauna sessions as part of a wellness routine focused on relaxation, circulation, recovery, and supporting the body's natural elimination processes.
What is the SoQi therapy bed?
The SoQi therapy bed combines supportive wellness technologies designed to encourage relaxation, circulation, recovery, and overall well-being. Depending on your session, therapy may include red light, far-infrared warmth, BioMat therapy, or gentle movement through the Chi machine. Many clients describe the experience as deeply relaxing.
Can I combine several therapies during one visit?
Absolutely. Many clients enjoy combining therapies such as an ionic footbath, infrared sauna, and SoQi/BioMat session into one wellness visit. We also offer packages and memberships for clients who would like to incorporate these therapies into their regular routine.
How often should I schedule detox therapies?
Frequency depends on the individual, your wellness goals, the therapy being used, and how your body responds. Some clients come occasionally for relaxation and self-care, while others incorporate supportive therapies into a more structured weekly wellness plan. We can help you determine an appropriate schedule based on your goals.
